Author's Note:
This article (in point form) is a summary of an interview with the creators of 'The Secret', based on ancient spiritual truths. It is based upon notes I've taken from Oprah's most uplifting TV program, as well as from some radio interviews here in far-off scenic New Zealand ("Godzone"). I put my own questions or reservations to the points raised with a ?? and have included a few personal points in the form of additional phrases, based upon my own studies in this field..

My close friends think 'The Secret' is very "new agey and materialistic"; however I believe in the simple principles of the power of the human mind, that are elaborated upon in the book. Consequently, I'm sharing this piece with the hope and in the spirit of encouraging people to follow their hearts in "going for" and then getting really what they want out of life. People achieving their full potentials and being happy. That is what I really want and that is my dream!!

Our thoughts and feelings control our energy. There is no such thing as co-incidences???.

We have UNLIMITED POWER. Thought is a unit of energy, love, gratitude, peace and harmony. What will flow into your life?. This will lead to your life destiny. Keep a gratitude journal and "open up to being". Be grateful living with an "attitude of gratitude". Something new can come into your life, when you are grateful for what you already have. Appreciate those "things". Be open to an abundant universe. Do things that will enthuse you. Perhaps even be passionate (why I write). Relax and "be with it".

Teach people HOW to treat you. (Ie. Follow the 'Golden Rule': Treating others how you'd like to be treated - the basis of all religions in the world). We expect other people to show us our greatness (and this is not success). Celebrate it (and especially YOUR uniquness)!.

Think not debt, but financial freedom. Focus on where you are going. Focus on the feeling that you are now financially free. Make the DECISION. What you focus on expands. Use the power of visualisation, as this embeds positive images in our consciousness. You deserve to feel good. Claim it NOW!

The true definition of forgiveness is "giving up the hope that the past could be different" (what's that got to do with your point, craig. Nothing- I just wanted to write it down to remember!).

We can change our associations of pain and pleasure.

Every single thing (experience) has a gift in it???. Ask yourself: "What can I learn from this situation?" I am what I am, because of what happened to me. What are you here to teach me?

Isn't that simply having (and maintaining) a positive attitude to events, both good and bad?

No matter what style you choose, your shoes have to have a balance of both. Shoes can often dictate the direction your sports luxe outfit takes. Deciding whether you want to look at a more casual, or luxury style is entirely down to you,youre your footwear is important. Think of brands, such as Timberland, All Saints are a perfect example of mens boots. Think Nike, Vans, Adidas, Android Homme and Puma for your canvas, or sports based trainers.

The Upper Wear

The jacket you choose to use will define what way your sports luxe outfit goes down. If you want to cater more towards a formal look, youll tend to look for blazers, tailored jackets, or for more casual occasions youll look for casual baseball jackets, jumpers or hoodies.

People are quick to forget that blazers were once called a sports jacket and now the sports luxe trend has arrived, designers such as Lanvin have adapted accordingly. Lanvin have used lightweight materials, with shortened styles in order to create a jacket that seamlessly fits into sports luxe. Autograph collecting is a fun and rewarding hobby, but it's also a lucrative business for many entrepreneurs. As a hobby, autographs are a terrific way to own a piece of memorabilia that has been personally signed by your favorite actor, musician, athlete, etc. Collectors across the globe are always looking to add the unattainable signature to their collection.
Autographs can be obtained either in person or through the mail. If you are fortunate enough to live in an area where sports competitions or movie filmings are plentiful, then you may have a lot of in-person autograph opportunities. For everyone else, collecting through the mail may be the most economical approach. Sealy is one of the most well-known mattress manufacturers and have been making mattresses for longer than most. Many reviews of Sealy mattresses give them a fairly decent score; the opinion generally being that they make a good quality mattress if somewhat overpriced. So what do you get for your money when you buy a Sealy Posturepedic mattress?

First off, Sealy Posturepedic does not refer to one mattress; rather Posturepedic is a generic term for a range of Sealy mattresses. What is common to all Posturepedic mattresses is the incorporation of the Sealy Comfort System. Basically, the Sealy Comfort System comprises the following elements; a claim that Sealy use the most advanced inner spring available and that combines orthopedically correct support, advanced Comfort Materials and UniCased Edge Design.

Now let's get something straight: most mattress manufacturers claim that the springs used in their mattresses are the best you can buy but did you know that all of the well-known mattress companies (there are exceptions) get their coils from a single company, Leggett and Platt, for their highest-end mattresses down to their lowest. Also, other manufacturers state that they place their coils in such a way as to give you the best orthopedically correct support - what they mean is they place more coils, or heavier gauge coils under the shoulder and hip area.

The Sealy Posturepedic mattress also comes with a UniCased Edge Design. This gives the mattress a firmer edge, the idea being that your weight doesn't push the mattress out sideways so giving you more support. Again, this is nothing new or unique; I don't know of any top rated mattress that doesn't come with some sort of edging support.

Sealy also recommend that when your purchase a Sealy Posturepedic that you also purchase the box spring set to go with the mattress. The company claims that a box spring acts like a big shock absorber giving the sleeper even more comfort. But I find this explanation a little hard to swallow. Springs on top of springs? Surely the coils in the mattress should be good enough to give you the support and comfort you need. In my opinion box springs are not necessary, add to the cost and are a good little earner for the mattress manufacturer. Most Europeans use platform beds - no box spring set - and we don't seem to hear them complaining about alack of support or comfort.

Sealy also tell us that the materials used are hypo-allergenic and flame resistant. This is standard for all top end mattresses.

The are three basic models to the Sealy Posturepedic range; the Sealy Posturepedic, which has the feature described above; the Sealy Posturepedic Body Series, which is claimed to be the most luxurious in the range; the Sealy Posturepedic Reserve Collection, which features a a memory foam layer on top of the mattress.

The above review of Sealy Posturepedic mattresses is quite short. You can find more detailed reviews on the net, many from individuals who have purchased the mattress. Most find the Posturepedic to be quite comfortable though somewhat overpriced. A good mattress but perhaps, no better than other brand name mattresses.

A Review Of The Breitling Bentley 6.75 Watch

The Bentley collection of Breitling watches was inspired by the car maker winning the Le mans 24 hour race. All of the models in this collection are beautiful, but if there's one watch that stands out, it has to be the Bentley 6.75.

Apart from the Flying B model all of the Breitling Bentley watches have the same casing. If you are familiar with Breitling watches, or perhaps own one but want something a little un-Breitling, you should definitely take a look at the Flying B watch. It's unique inasmuch as the casing is rectangular in shape. It also features a jumping hour mechanism with hour hand being replaced by a disc display at 12 o'clock. The minute hand is still were you expect to find it. The seconds are displayed in a subdial at the 6 o'clock position.

However, getting back to the Bentley 6.75, it's a big watch, the case diameter measures 48.7mm making it the widest case of all Breitling watches - as stated above, the casing for all Bentley watches is the same.

In overall appearance, the 6.75 is similar to the Bentley Motors watch. Both feature a distinctive Knurled bezel which is a trademark feature of Bentley cars. Both have 3 subdials. Both feature a circular slide rule and both feature a date aperture. But, there are differences between the two; differences that, I feel, make the 6.75 a far more desirable and collectible piece.

The subdials of the Motors watch are at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock position with a date aperture at 3 o'clock. The subdials of the Bentley 6.75 are at the 6, 9 and 12 o'clock position with the date aperture between the 4 and 5 hour marker. Nothing too different, but if you look at the date aperture of the 6.75 you'll notice that there are 2 rectangular apertures placed side-by-side; the one to the right is for the ones and the one to the left is for the tens. This is a really nice feature that helps set the watch apart from the others in this collection.

However, it's not what is immediately visible that really makes the 6.75 the best. If you turn it over you'll notice the Bentley rim (spokes) design. Others have the Bentley logo (as does the 6.75) but no other Breitling watches in the collection have the Bentley spokes.

If there's going to be one watch in this collection that's going to be the most collectible in years to come it's going to be the Bentley 6.75 watch. It's not as expensive as others in the collection; the Mulliner Tourbillon for example, is specially ordered, allowing the owner to specify casing metal, dial color, even the exact shade of the leather strap. However, for a watch that you'll wear everyday the 6.75 has just about the right combination of style, rugged feel and features.

If I were going to buy one - I wish I could afford it - I would buy the one with bronze dial and matching brown leather strap; this is not only the most beautiful in the Bentley collection, it's one of the most beautiful of all Breitling watches.

Want a way to keep your yearly goals at the top of your mind? Create a vision board.

A vision board is a collection of words and/or pictures that represent what you desire in your business and in your life but its also much more than that.

As you look for and assemble images that express whats important to you, the process helps reinforce the goals youve chosen. When youre finished, you have a powerful visual reminder of where youd like to be.

Heres how to get started building your own vision board.

Your vision board can be completed in the space of a few hours, by yourself or as part of a group. You can break the process into steps, or you can do it all at once when the spirit moves you. What you include is up to you. Some years, my board is filled with words. Other years I lean more toward pictures and visual depictions.

In 2013, I created a vision board with a group of women friends while on vacation in Hilton Head, South Carolina. We all had aspirations for the upcoming year and wanted to be more intentional in accomplishing them. It was a beautiful day, both outdoors and in. As we searched for pictures that captured our visions, we talked of our dreams and goals for the future. There was laughter, quiet thoughtfulness, pens and markers, colored paper, and glue. Lots of glue.

One of my favorite parts came at the end, when we took turns describing the elements on our boards and the futures we wanted to create. This process took my vision to another level of reality. No longer was it just in my head, or even just on my board I had shared it with others.

My friends also gave me a new idea: get the board laminated. I took my work to an office supply store, where, for a couple of dollars, I had it reinforced so it would hold together permanently.

The vision board worked in surprising ways, as such projects often do. For instance, I chose the words I collaborate. This translated into working with Giuliette Nardone to design my new logo and with Suzan Czajkowski to create a new website.

I also included the words Beautiful workspaces, along with pictures of a serene space and a new office chair. Check: I got it done and I love it!

Here are some ideas for your vision board:

* If youre having difficulty with a business partner or peer and would like to improve the relationship, find an image of what that would look like. Feel free to use metaphors. If you wish things would calm down and smooth out, you might choose a picture of a boat under full sail on clear blue water, indicating smooth sailing. Or you could have two people smiling and shaking hands. You decide which images speak to you.

* Want to launch a new project? How about a picture of you popping the cork on a bottle of champagne?

* Have hefty sales goals this year? Put the number on your vision board.

* Time to upgrade your technology skills? Include a certificate of completion for the program you want to take (if one isnt available, design your own version).

* Ready for a promotion? Place your new title on your board.

Remember, what youre doing is taking your goals and intentions for the year and making them visual. You may also want to post your word of the year on a prominent place on your board.

The beauty of a vision board is that you cant do it wrong. The board can serve many purposes. It can include both your personal and professional goals, your aspirations for just this year or for your lifetime. You can complete it now or add to it as you go along. Some people create a book instead of a board. Others place pictures around their offices and homes.

A Couple Of Good Reasons To Sue Your Creditor And Eliminate Your Debts

Many people facing financial tough times want to know what their legal rights are and how they can use them. To answer a few of the most asked questions I have put together this article on whom you can sue and what you can sue for. Lets begin with a question that people ask me all the time. When can I sue my creditor and what can I sue them for? To answer this question I will first start by saying yes you can sue your creditor for many different reasons. One of the first reasons is if the creditor has reported your credit history inaccurate. Your claim against them could be one of Defamation or financial injury. There is case law giving precedent to this in the US Court of Appeals Ninth Circuit, No. 00-15946, Nelson vs. Chase Manhattan. This court found Chase responsible and fined them for the degree of damages incurred by the wrong that took place.

Another thing that many people with credit card debt ask me is if they can sue a creditor for falsely stating a disputed credit account on your credit history. The answer again is yes. Yes you can sue the creditor if you have disputed a debt, and they have failed to report it as disputed account to the credit bureaus. You can sue the creditor for this because of Section 623 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the specific laws that are invoked to your favor. The fine for this erroneous credit reporting to your creditor is $1000.

Another creditor claim that people typically have is against collection agencies when collection agencies pull credit with out permission. When collecting on a debt, Collection agencies routinely pull credit for accounts that are in default. This happens when a creditor allocates the account to third party collectors. Once the account has been allocated to a third party collector who is not the original creditor the creditor has given up their right to collect on the debt. Therefore if the collection company who you have never heard of before attempts to collect on that debt they had better validate that you owe them money or it would follow that they have no right to do a credit inquire on your credit history.

If there is not a valid contract stating that the debt is owed or showing proper assignment of the account to the collector then there is no way of knowing if the third party debt collector is the holder in due course. (Collection agencies are not in the business of lending money and frequently more than one company at a time tries to collect on debts) The law states in the Fair Credit Reporting Act under Section 604 injury to your credit report and credit score is a $1000 fine. I don't know about you but if credit is pulled without permission and the creditor cannot verify that you gave them permissible purpose then I would consider a claim against them. The citing case law is Cushman, v. Trans Union Corporation US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit Court Case 115 F.3d220, June 9, 1997, Filed (D.C No. 95-cv-1743)

In summary there are many reasons why someone could sue their creditors. Next time you are dealing with a collection agencies be sure to think twice about your defenses and course of actions.

When you are buying comic books for a collection you want to know roughly the comic book values.

These values are somewhat difficult for the novice comic collector to find. The best way to get a feel for the various values that are possible is to see if you can determine the comic book values by the method that was described in the comic book price guides. The first step is to see the condition of the comic books in your collection. The ones that are in poor shape you may want to leave until you are able to see how the comic book value system really works.

The other items that determine the comic book values are the popularity in the long term. This means that long running comic series like Superman and Batman are probably most likely to be very valuable especially if they are comics from the earlier editions. These early comic books are hard to find.

When you have developed your ability to judge the various comic book values and you feel that you will be able to say which comics are in mint condition and which ones are fair then you will need to see if you can take this a step further and look at the differences in the comic books that you have just purchased from the comic book stores. You can then see what a professional appraiser will value your collection at.

The promises are grouped into several different areas, healing & health, leading & guidance, overcoming, prayer, prosperity, safe/secure, worship.

It will do you good just to read the promises. But I would suggest, read them out loud, if you can, because, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17) If you read the promises silently, you miss out on the hearing, but some might say they hear it in their mind. OK, whatever works. I quote my promises aloud, when possible. But when you're with other people, you might have to read silently. When alone, please read aloud to strengthen your faith.

The book of Genesis, first book in the Bible, tells us we're made in the image of God. In the image of the God who spoke the worlds into existence. Therefore, you and I also have some power to speak things into existence. Sometimes people speak wrong things into existence. Let's try not to do that. Let me give you a small example.

At the public library, I have found books on subjects I'm interested in. Books that maybe I would have checked out, taken home, and read. But I stayed away from books that said they were for dummies because I'm not a dummy, and I'm not going to call myself a dummy, and I'm not going to read books written for such people, since obviously they weren't meant for me. Some might think I'm taking it to the extreme, but I really believe the Lord will help me to find satisfactory books without any acknowledgment on my part that I'm somehow deficient, and I say by faith that I'm not deficient.

If you don't quite agree, you can do it your way, but I try not to call myself the wrong thing.

An important teacher on the subject of quoting God's promises as a way of speaking into existence better lives for God's people is Charles Capps. My favorite of his books is, "God's creative power will work for you." I've seen it in Christian book stores, or, he has his own website.

A young man who was a neighbor of mine in Los Angeles was a professing Christian. I tried to give him a little book that had some good teaching. He said, no, he just gets it out of the Bible. Well, I try to get God's word into me every day, too. But in the word it says God gave some teachers (Ephesians 4:11).

If God thought it was important to provide us with teachers, I'm smart enough to try to listen to the best of them. And now, God has made me a teacher.

There's a scripture about people who didn't mix their faith with God's word when they heard it. Let's not be among those people. Put your faith with God's word. Choose to believe God's word. He will reward your faith.

When Abraham believed God's promise, God counted Abraham's faith as righteousness.

These promises are based on actual scriptures in the Bible. But I've personalized them for my use. When you come to the name Fred, please substitute you own name instead of mine.

There is a category for worship. A teacher I know said the Lord told him, "Son, my people don't worship me enough, and you don't either. You tell the people that if they'll spend time worshipping me, they can have anything they want." Let me ask you a question, how would you like to have anything you want? Most people would like that. OK, spend time worshipping the Lord.

So here are the promises, divided into categories. You don't necessarily have to read them in order. You could scroll down to the department most urgent for you at this time.

HEALING & HEALTH

Abraham didn't consider his own body & didn't stagger at G's promise, but was strong in faith, giving glory to G, & was fully persuaded. Rom 4:19-22 All grace toward me. 2 Cor 9:8 And a time 2 heal. Eccl 3:3 And he healed him. Matt 12:22 And he healed them. Matt 4:24 And he healed them. Matt 15:30 And he healed them. Matt 21:14 And he healed them all. Matt 12:15 And he healed them there. Matt 19:2 And he healed their sick. Matt 14:14 And he laid his hands on every one of them and healed them. Lk 4:40 And he, leaping up, stood & walked. Acts 3:8 And healed all that were sick. Matt 8:16 And healed many that were sick of various diseases. Mk 1:34 And healed the child & returned him to his father. Lk 9:42 And healed those who had need of healing. Matt 8:7 The L will make all my bed in my sickness. The L wounds & he heals. Deut 32:39 The man was more than 40 yrs old on whom this miracle of healing was shown. Acts 4:22 The number of my days the Lord fulfills. The servant was healed. Lk 7:7-10 The spirit helps our infirmities Rom 8:26 or so The spirit makes alive. J wds are spirit & life. LEADING & GUIDANCE

I don't follow a stranger's voice, 'cause I don't know the voice of strangers. Jhn 10:3,4 'Cause I draw near 2 G, he draws near 2 me. 'Cause I love the L, the Father & Son come 2 me & live with w. me. 'Cause I seek the L, I find him. Matt 7:7-11 'cause I'm just, my path is like the shining light that shines more & more until the perfect day, For w thee is the fountain of life; in thy light shall we see light. Ps 36:9 4 thy name's sake, lead me & guide me. Ps God's Holy Spirit leads me into all truth. G's spirit bears witness w our spirit. Rom 8:16 G's spirit works mightily in me. He delights in my way. He establishes my goings. He guides me w his eye. I discern spiritually. 1 Cor 2:13,14 I don't seek my own will, but the Father's. I don't quench G's Holy Spirit. 'Cause I'm wise, wisdom strengthens me. Faith comes by hearing & hearing by the word of God. Rom 10:17 For sin shall not have dominion over me. Rom 6:14 G always causes me to triumph in Christ. 2 Cor 2:14 G bruises Satan under my feet. Rom 16:20 G delivers me fr the pwr of darkness & translates me into the kingdom of his dear son. Col 1:13 G has given me all thngs that pertain 2 life & godliness. G is my defense & the G of my mercy. G makes us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Eph 2:6 G's anointing on me has broken my yokes. Greater is he that is in me, than he that is in the world. 1 Jhn 4:4 Having done all, I stand. Eph 6:13,14 He that does righteousness is righteous. He that has begun a gd wrk in me will perfect it. Holiness to the L. Holiness w/out which no man shall see the L. I abstain from fleshly lusts that war against the soul. Rev 12:11 I overcome evil w good Rom 12:21 I patiently continue in well-doing. I put my trust in the L: how say ye 2 my soul flee like a bird to your mountain? Ps 11:1 I quench the fiery darts of the enemy w my faith. Eph 6:16 I reckon myself dead indeed to sin, but alive to God thru Jesus Christ our Lord. Rom 6:11 I resist the dev & he flees from me. Jas 4:7 I reign in life by Jesus Christ. Rom 5:17 I reign with the L Jesus. I rejoice 'cause my name's written in Lamb's Bk of Life. I set my heart right & my spirit is steadfast w G. SAFE/SECURE

'Cause I trust in the L, I'm like Mt. Zion, that can't B removed. 'Cause I'm R, I'm delivered out of trouble. The wicked come instead. 'cause my ways please the L, he makes even my enemies to B @ peace w me. Prov 16:7 1 K fall @ my side & 10 K @ my rt hand, but it won't come near me. Ps 91:7 As far as E is from W, so far has he removed my sins from me. As the heavens R high above the earth, so grt is his mercy 2 me, 'cause I fear him. 'cause G is 4 me, no one can B against me. The L keeps me in perfect peace 'cause my mind is stayed on him. Isa The L keeps my foot from being taken. Prov 3:26 The L maintains my right & my cause. Ps 9:4 The L never leaves me nor forsakes me. Heb 13:5 The L only makes me to dwell in safety. The L preserves my soul & my going out & my coming in from now on & forever. Ps The L will bless his people w peace, of whom I'm one. The L will keep me in perfect peace cause my mind is stayed on him. Isa The mercy of the L is from everlasting 2 everlasting 4 me 'cause I fear him. The peace of G rules in my hrt. Col 3:15 There is there4 now no condemnation. 2 me 'cause I'm in Chr J & called acc 2 his purpose. Rom 8:1 This king trusts in the L; & thru the mercy of the most high I shall not B moved. Psa 21:7 Where the spirit of the L is, there is liberty. W great mercies does he gather me. Isa 54:7 With tender mercies does he gather me, & shows me his salvation.

'Cause I do the thngs in Psa 15, I'll never B moved. Ps 15:1 LORD, who shall live in your tabernacle? Who shall live in your holy hill? Ps 15:2 He that walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart. Ps 15:3 He that doesn't backbite with his tongue, and doesn't do evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbor. Ps 15:4 In whose eyes a filthy person is held in contempt; but he honors those who fear the Lord. He that promises to his own hurt, and doesn't change. Ps 15:5 He that doesn't loan his money at interest, nor takes a bribe against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved.

WORSHIP

A day in ur courts is better than a thousand. At the name of J every knee shall bow. Bless the L, O my soul. Ps Blessed B the L G of Israel from everlasting 2 everlasting. He is worthy of our praise. How terrible R U in your works toward the children of men. I bless the L @ all times. His praise shall continually B in my mouth. Ps 34:1 I call on the L, who is worthy to B praised I fear the L, so I bless him. I give the L the glory due his name. I glory in the L. 1 Cor 1:31 I hope in G, 4 I shall yet praise him 4 the help of his countenance. I kiss the Son lest he be angry & I perish from the way when his wrath kindled but a little. I lift up holy hands w/o wrath & doubting. I lv the L w all hrt, soul, mind, strength. I pray & sing w both the spirit & w the understanding. 1 Cor 14:15 I sing 2 the L a new song. Isa 42 I spend time worsh the L in the beauty of holiness. I rejoice in the L my G. I show reverence 2 the L & respect & worship. I worship the L. Ps 96:9 I worship the L in the beauty of holiness. I'll love thee, O L, my strength. Ps 18? I'll praise the L's name from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same. Ps 113:3 I'll rejoice in the L. I will joy in the G of my salvation. L, u only do wondrously Ps Now is our salv nearer than when we believed. The foolishness of G is wiser than men; the weakness of G is stronger than men. The L inhabits my praises.
